Charles ‘Bud’ Runkles is President of Dear Management and Construction, Inc. where is responsible for one of the largest residential real estate portfolios in the Mid-Atlantic. Since 1973, he has managed upwards of 1,700 units at a time, while working to improve communities, to better the quality of life of his residents, and to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. In his spare time, Bud enjoys time with family, and helping others grow their own passive real estate income. Bud has been a member of Investors United since 2004.
Stephen Ferrandi has purchased, sold, or developed more than $400,000,000 in land since establishing his real estate practice, Maryland Land Advisors, in 1998. He has served as Director of Land Acquisition for the Southern Land Company, a large land development firm, President of PraiseBuildings Religious Property Brokerage, and Principal of NAI KLNB Commercial Real Estate Brokerage. He holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University, where he is also a Professor in the Graduate School of Real Estate. Stephen is also author of Seared in Ink, a book of poetry and short stories published by Silver Pond Press. He has been a member of Investors United since 2003.
Jeff Stoller is a licensed CPA and an authority in the area of financial planning, real estate and business acquisitions and dispositions, tax reduction, and like-kind exchanges. Formerly the General Manager of Arthur Anderson LLP, a Big Five CPA firm, Jeff currently serves as President of Goodwich, Stoller and Associates, Inc., CPAs and Management Consultants. He is a regular consultant to professional groups, corporations, real estate developers, asset managers, and individual investors; and he has been a part of the Investors United family since 1980. In his private time, Jeff enjoys volunteering his time with various charitable foundations and non-profits.
Tony Garcia, Esq. is one of the most sought-after attorneys in the nation. He has scored victories in the national spotlight, in boardrooms, and in living rooms, using his unique brand of negotiation to bring people together, often in ways thought impossible. He represents clients including government, law enforcement, professional athletes, real estate developers, small businesspeople, and individuals alike. Tony is a former Team Captain of the Baltimore City State’s Attorney Office, a Hampton University and University of MD School of Law graduate with honors, and a former member of both his high-school’s football and chess teams. Roger Turek is a full-time investor in discounted mortgage notes. He has created, acquired, and sold hundreds of notes for millions of dollars in profit over a decade. Prior to his career in real estate investment, Roger was the owner of Master Metrology, Inc., a small gauge calibration business he founded in 1986. Soon after joining Investors United in 2004, Roger sold his business to a multi-national company to focus on real estate. Today, Roger shares his passion for real estate investing with his children, who have joined him in the business. In his spare time, he enjoys buying and selling racehorses, RV’ing, and partnering with his students on note transactions.
